About LazySign
We believe signing documents should be fast, free, and completely private. That's why we built LazySign.
Our Mission
LazySign was created with a simple mission: make document signing accessible to everyone, without the barriers of registration, fees, or privacy concerns. We believe that signing a document should be as simple as clicking a button — no accounts, no uploads, no limits.
Why We Built It
The existing options for signing documents online all had the same problems:
- They required registration — creating yet another account on yet another platform
- They had hidden costs — “free” tiers that limited you to a few documents per month
- They uploaded your documents to servers — your private contracts and personal files sent to third-party servers
- They were complicated — multi-step workflows and confusing interfaces
We wanted something better: a tool that respects your privacy, has no limits, and works instantly, every time.
How It Works
LazySign is built as a fully client-side web application. When you upload a document, it is read by your browser using the FileReader API. When you draw a signature, it is rendered on an HTML5 Canvas element. When you download the signed document, it is generated entirely in your browser using client-side JavaScript libraries like pdf-lib and PDF.js. Your files never leave your computer.
Our Values
Privacy First
We designed LazySign to be 100% client-side. No servers, no uploads, no data collection. Your documents belong to you.
Always Free
No subscription fees, no premium plans, no hidden costs. LazySign will always be free to use for everyone.
Universal Access
Works on any device with a browser. No apps to download, no operating system requirements.
Simple by Design
We focus on doing one thing well: signing documents. No bloat, no unnecessary features, no learning curve.
Our Commitment to Privacy
We take privacy seriously. LazySign does not use analytics trackers, does not collect personal data, and does not store any of your documents or signatures. The only third-party service we use is Google AdSense for advertising, and that only activates after you provide consent. Everything else is pure client-side code running in your browser.
